Children Under Age 11 Mind Map
Before beginning to generate ideas, we decided to create a mind map to show our intital perceptions and thoughts of the under 11 age group.
Target Audience
We have chosen the under 11-age group as apposed to the over 60’s age group for a number of reasons.
1) Difficult to change habits of the older generation
1.1) Afraid of technology
1.2) Willingness to learn
2) Accessing older people
3) Technology restrictions (mobility, sound, graphics etc…)

HCI Formation
As part of the Human Computer Interaction 2 Module from the School of Computer Science, University of Birmingham, we were asked to create a blog as part of the assessment for the course. Through this blog, we hope that we can demonstrate clear ideas around the area of usability for the development of a piece of technology that can be used for either children under the age of 11 or the older generation (60+).
